just bought a house with electronic dog fence with two collars?

how do you train the dogs with the electronic fence with the battery collars. Is there something i am supposed to do?

my suggestion is to return the invisible fence and get a real one. these invisible fences do not protect your dog from anything. they keep your dog in but they keep nothing out. My neighbors dog was attacked by a pit bull. This pit bull did damage to this small puppy that cost the owners over a thousand dollars to repair. This dog still runs our neighborhood loose. we have a lab and a basset hound that do not go out alone. I have 2 acres of property that i am currently saving the cash to fence. we also have coyotes that show up and take local pets as prey. please re think the invisible fence and collars, your dog will not be protected.
