Dog harness?

I have to get my little dog a harness as soon as possible. He has a normall trechea collapse that failure will not, except from when we started to walk out, because pulling a regular collar (we are also training him to walk politely, I will not make any that can make further damage in the mean time). What do you recommend or use of your small dog? Also, I'm looking to get harnesses for my mix and Newfoundland puppy Keeshond (But one that can be used as an adult.) Are the harnesses that clip on the back neither better nor worse than those who clip in front?

I love using my body harnesses dogs. They are the ones sell PetSmart. My Shih Tzu is a small, but they can be freed to become larger. My Rottie had gotten too big for the large so had to order one online. they have the ring on the top of the belt. Nice handle to hang onto if you have too.
