Should I buy a Dogue de Bordeaux or French Mastiff American bulldog?

Please write an informative response, thanks. Not my style life, I want to know about the two dogs temprament! I can evolve my style of life around the dogs needs, I have a big house and garden and I live near a park.

Each of these races is very different, but similar too. it has everything to do with your lifestyle and what you expect from your pet. It also depends on how active you are as to what breed would suit you best. Mastiffs can be dominant, stubborn, prey-driven, aggressive small animals of the same sex aggressive or even aggressive dogs in general (that is, in general, some are big balls of mashed potatoes and excellent with other animals and not dominant at all). Some are very active, most are not. Overall, the Bulldogs are good with children and have a high stimulus threshold. Are protective without being aggressive, their eyes are bound to be discouraging. training of early socialization and obedience are a must for a bulldog. Mastiffs want to be near his master as much as possible (ie going to sleep at your feet when you are on the couch or computer, at the foot of his bed at night, often do not want to leave your site and will remain in the bathroom, which means owning a Doge, has NO privacy at all !!!). Mastiffs are generally not dogs dog park, you can not start fights, but they will finish if the other dogs start to fight each yes. Do your research. If you decide to buy a puppy, the demand for medical test results, go to a reputable breeder not only their health tests (for the Heart of DDB, hips, elbows, at least, preferably with the shoulders, knees and eyes as well) but also a member of the parent club and showing (even if you are looking for a show dog). Most reputable breeders are members of their parent club races (For DDB, which is the Dogue de Bordeaux Society of America, ddbsa). Reputable breeders show, otherwise they may become blinded by the flaws in their own dogs and not realize that are actually ruining your race (of course this is my opinion.) Reputable breeders are behind what they produce for the life of the dog, who will all the offspring of contracts (either show, which means the puppy must be shown, or pets, that is, the puppy must be altered by a certain age and race ever). They also microchip their young and be an alternative contact chip puppies so if anything ever happens, they can help get the puppy safe. reputable breeders are few and far between (again, IMO). Also check out the bailouts for each group. Rescues often in young dogs, including puppies and dogs occasionally pregnant. Contact rescuing people often know their best races because some breeders are doing all the rescue!
