useful ways to get rid of bad memories?

I still have bad memories of my past from my school and former friends and family. I do not know what to do with them. I tried to help prfessional not seem to work now and I thought maybe writing them down and say how I felt and then grind or something that I feel better. if you tried this it did work or take only memories back and had a hard time. thanks to add a few more suggestions.

Your idea is good. If share your writing with someone make sure it's someone you can trust and who is mature enough to handle the subject. Furthermore, not necessarily forget, however, if you can cope with his past experience and accept it, perhaps forgive for their own benefit and to identify positive aspects that have taken place because of him (Exodus maybe you are a more compassionate / empathetic person, because of what you've experienced) may help you see yourself as a survivor with the strength that has dealt with and overcome adversity ….. because you have. Turn your memories into something you can learn, grow and evolve from. The most important thing is not taking responsibility, blame, guilt, etc for negative behavior and / or decisions of others.
