The benefits of Omega 3 EPA

May or may not have heard of the many benefits of EPA and DHA omega3 fatty acids, but did you know these nutrients essential can make a big difference physically? Without sufficient fatty acids DHA and EPA omega3 in the system to counteract the omega-6 formed the inflammation, the ailments that I just described really start to take shape. You need to have at least a balance omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in the body to maintain health and a higher percentage of omega-3 fatty acids are preferred.

I've seen written you can get omega-3 fatty acids from eating certain vegetables, but what you get from these plant sources is mainly alpha-linolenic acid, better known as ALA.
