Terrier Caution
The dog that love to smell crotches … aye!?
Jumping Bean is one year terrier mix 3 with a wonderful personality. He is very affectionate and friendly with everyone, even strangers in the park. The problem is that is a crotch sniffer. He makes the whole world, men, women, elderly and even children. I have tried to obedience classes and I have a trainer come to my house three times a week to teach jumping beans that you can not go sniffing crotches. I'm up on my end trial. So now, every time I jump Beans, I have to caution all who pass by that he is the trainning and please stay away. Once you actually tried bite the poor guy in his shorts. I am embarrassed beyond imagination. Any tips out there to lend a hand?
erm, no. in If he did not know about dogs, sniffing the crotch / butt area is like knowing a person or other animal. you can smell what they eat, where was, who / what is around you, etc etc. How is that embarrassing for you? It is the most natural thing for dogs to do. overcome.
