What color When, on two walls of tone?

I have two colors of paint, a deep green basil leaf and hot coffee and the boundary coordinates. The story that matches exactly the warm Brown. The question is whether the green is on the bottom and have a light brown color on the top floor farthest correspondence or have brown on the bottom closer to the ground brown? The floor tile is tan with a lighter tone of brown tiles darker. The brown paint is just the color of the tile with inlaid diamonds.

He definitely has the green on the bottom. If brown is in the background, it might look a little too Matchy Matchy-, and shock.
