Does Advil work as a substitue for Asprin?

I read that to preserver cut flowers, you can add a penny and an Asprin tablet to the water. I don’t have Asprin. Will Advil work instead?

No. but you could add three tablespoons of vinegar to help preserve the flowers I have even heard of putting a tablespoon of bleach but the penny is a new one on me.
