What round is better for hunting or 7.62×39mm 5.45×39mm?

Thinking about getting an AK. Need to know what is best for deer hunting and home defense. The SE AK folding stock and have side-mounted scope. Also need to know how good a low stock of collapsible wire is round and that is more accurate.

Many deer have been killed with cheap SKS rifles 7.62 mm x 39mm. The round is ballistically very close to 30/30. As for the accuracy of two turns easily reach 100 + yards on a good rifle. The 5.45mm x 39mm to be fast but very small for my taste. You'll can use the 7.62mm x 39mm. Miketyson26
