Yellow Lab
Can I get my yellow lab/chow shaved for the summer or is that bad for his skin?
The place I take him to get cleaned asked me if I wanted to get him shaved. I wasn’t sure if it was safe so I said no. But I would like to because he has alot of hair. And he sheds like CRAZY!! He is part chow and part yellow lab. What do you think or know?
It won’t hurt his coat or skin to get him clippered down, I would suggest to the groomer that they use a #7F blade as this will leave a velvety layer that will protect him from the sun.
